The 2014 Portland World Naked Bike Ride was an amazing event!  It was a high-energy atmosphere.  It was clear that a fun time was had by all, while also making a meaningful statement, with intense comradery.  A strong spirit of acceptance and tolerance was in the air, making everyone feel welcome.  Riders and spectators alike felt the embrace of kindness all around them.

Well before dusk, thousands of people showed up at Normandale Park, in NE Portland, where they gathered for the start of the ride.  It was a joyful occasion with a serious message, calling attention to world oil consumption, environmental preservation, and the safety of cyclists.
