The 2020 World Naked Bike Ride will not be held as a mass gathering this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there will be a day of protest as in past years. Riders are encouraged to celebrate WNBR Day by riding wherever they feel is appropriate, avoiding large groups and taking appropriate precautions. So get out and celebrate WNBR Day in PDX to protest dependence on fossil fuels, promote body acceptance, and cyclist safety!
World Naked Bike Ride Day
Saturday June 27th, 2020
After the 2020 WNBR, pictures and more will be available on our 2020 World Naked Bike Ride page. Visit the Portland WNBR site at pdxwnbr.org or on Facebook to learn more. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to contribute to help with the costs of future rides.
The circumstances of this year’s WNBR will make it more challenging for Keep-Portland-Weird.com to acquire photos for our annual naked bike ride photo gallery, so we need your help. This year we are asking riders and supporters to share their photos with us for publication. To share your pictures on our 2020 WNBR page, please contact us for details of how you can contribute.
Please be courteous when taking photos. Ask for permission whenever possible and avoid photographing those who do not want their picture taken.
I’m planning to ride along the waterfront downtown starting at noon.
Something tells me that I won’t be the only one. Hope to see you there!
This is so random! Ride wherever feel is appropriate?
I will be at the waterfront by 12:30 but I’m not getting naked alone! I don’t want to ride with a huge crowd either, so I’m playing it by ear.
I’m sure you won’t be alone, Mindy. The Waterfront was my plan too. If it is too crowded I will stay away. There was a meetup group planing to meet at Lovejoy Fountain at noon but that was cancelled for safety. I think if everyone maintains a safe distance and wears face coverings it will be OK. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens.

I need to walk back my earlier comment. There has been a recent increase in cornavirus infections. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE AND AVOID GROUPS. See https://www.oregonlive.com/coronavirus/2020/06/oregon-coronavirus-modeling-shows-exponential-growth-in-future-infections.html.
We are 30 days into an historic rebellion. Please show your support for the Black Lives Matter movement while celebrating World Naked Bike Ride Day!
